Kristin’s favorite service is color correction. She is an Expert Color Artist (educator) for L'Oreal Professionnel, nationally. She specializes in the science and theory of color. Not only do you need to have that knowledge, you need to understand chemistry. Hair is made of keratin, that is actually dead, not a living structure, contrary to popular belief. The pH, porosity, melanin, texture, sensitivity, elasticity and all 3 layers of the hair's shaft needs to be considered when lightening or coloring hair.
Her favorite product is Serum Therapiste Hair Serum, by Kerastase. It intensely repairs weak, chemical, and thermal damage. It contains Native plant cells, GluCO peptides, and a wheat protein derivative. This heals and seals without weighing the hair down. It’s a miracle for long blondes especially.
